This November 2024, one of our crew, Iman Kurniawan had a blast of Japanese vacation with his wife. I believe Japan is one of their most favorite place to stroll around as they took a lot if IG Story posts, and sometimes Iman also took some picture of cool cars around his stroll, only with his phone.

As of our site just got revamped, I DMed Iman if he could took some pictures while strolling around Japan. It’s the time for our audience got a glimpse of the daily transport of Japanese people.
When curating and editing the beautiful pictures that Iman sent, I’ve seen many odds and beauty in the streets of Japan, but it still feels like just a regular day at Japan. They have a really nice streets and buildings so that everywhere seems photogenic in Japan. I think their punctual and orderly culture has created a very nice environment.
One of the rare Japanese Classic Car that Iman took at Japan was this Toyota Crown S130 Wagon. I think there are many Japanese like to preserve their classic cars, especially this comfy Crown Wagon.
The Daily Stanced Cars
Nicely stanced Toyota GT86
A Cabrio BMW M4 appears.
You can also see many stanced BIPPU being driven in the streets of Japan
A nice Wide Body Mazda RX-7 with kind-of RE Amemiya Body Kit. Is it?
Iman also snapped many stanced cars that been used daily in Japan. I think because of the great quality of asphalt on the street that makes many stanced car owners drove theirs as daily.
Another Japanese Classic Finds
I think this Toyota MR is one the less under appreciated Japanese sports car. Based on what I reads, this car was eventually not designed to be a sports car. Toyota wanted to create a car that is compact and fun to drive. But their development initially evolved to be a sports car that competes with Honda CR-X, Pontiac Fiero, and VW Scirocco.
A nice ‘Panda’ stripes Toyota Corolla Trueno found. Then it’s official that they’re in Japan!
The “Regular” JDM
I really like this new Subaru WRX with its aggresive body kit and meaty fitment. The owner must been proud.
A Honda Civic Type R being driven
Indonesian might said “EK Buntung” This one was very rare in Indonesia. But it seems just a regular hatchback back in Japan.
The Classics!
Classic Mini Cooper always took the hearts of many car enthusiast. With its compact and timeless design, you can still see some of them in the streets of Japan.
I can see many classic car being driven in the streets of Japan. Not just a show car or a garage queen. This is an example for us Indonesian to drive our cars!
The Rare Finds
A big and wide Dodge Viper found. I bet it’s really fast, and cool! Look at that midnight purple tho!
Trans Am founded in Japan. The owner really an American Culture fan! Or is he American living in Japan? Who knows?
This old man, enjoying himself with bright yellow classic cabriolet towards the beach. What a life!
A Nissan GT-R R34 founded at the streets of Japan is quite regular, I think!
A Rare NSX also being driven..
This blue Subaru Impreza WRX STI is really cool! I always love the Subaru Blue color!
The Center of Kei Cars Populations
Well, Japan was also well known by their Kei Cars. The looks are funny yet functional. I kind of liked it too!
This company car really funny and cool!
Daihatsu Copen from the older one to the newest ones. I think the newest one kind of have an aggressive yet still cute looks!
This is the most aggressive Copen that Iman found. Awesome!
Well, this is like a baby GT-R. But, it’s a Copen! Odd but cool
These parade of Copen is really showing the diversity of modification taste’s. Real cool!
Nicely looking Suzuki Jimny with overland accessories.
The Oddball of Japanese Car Culture
Talking about the other sides of Japanese Car Culture, their industry also like to combine between Classic 40s-60s design into their modern cars. Like this Mitsuoka.
Well, this one kind of get the Bossy-Old-Yakuza looks. What do you think?
I believe this is Mazda Flair Crossover with retro grills. Kinda looks funny, right?
This is a classic Mitsuoka Viewt with a base of Nissan March K11. This is not the products of the 60s, but 90s.
The Two…or Three Wheelers!
Japanese motorbike culture also really cool. I think Japanese people really serious when it came to a hobby.
An unique bike, right?
This is a lowrider scooter. Kind of Japan’s one of coolest cultures.
This one, is the regular scooters. Looks comfy tho!
A nice functional three wheelers! Why don’t we Indonesian got scooter like this?
So, that’s all what Iman found at Japan. I think the best example of Japanese Car Culture that we can take is that they really use their modified cars, classic cars, or even rare cars as a transportations. So, if you have one, use it daily ya!
Cheers!
